You know that saying… “Everything is bigger in Texas.” Especially houses.
\n\"\"<\/a>Andrew, Milo, and I made the trip back to San Antonio to visit Bub, Gram, Aunt Andrea, Nana, Ryan, Kristin, and the munchkins. We had plenty of breathing room at Ryan & Kristin’s new house, where we were made to feel very welcome… especially welcome to “crawl and destroy,” Milo’s new philosophy on life. Luckily for Baby Casey, a newfound plumpness (better late than never, CJ) protected him from certain destruction. Really, his big sisters are the real threat.<\/p>\n

<\/span>\"\"<\/a>The Elusive Ava, Engaging in Head-Banging, Body-Slamming Fun
\nYes, She is Airborne<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

The reunion with Nana was sweet as ever, with Milo constantly waving “hi” and grinning at his great-grandmother. He also had plenty of snuggles to share with her, and even a nice open-mouthed kiss on the nose, which could have turned into a bite (kissing, biting, it’s all the same to a 10-month-old), but luckily did not.\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>And, of course, TV with Bub:
\n\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>… who was kind enough to let Milo borrow the remote control for a while.<\/p>\n

And what trip to Texas is complete without a few “firsts?”
\nLike the first ride on a train:
\n\"\"<\/a>All kids enjoyed this mini-train ride in Landa park…
\n\"\"<\/a>Even Ava!<\/p>\n

We really, really enjoyed the delicious feast of a picnic that Kristin packed. Yes, she has three kids under the age of four AND she packs picnics. Good picnics. I enjoyed a good laugh when Ryan picked up a can of soda, a bee flew out, and all kinds of squeals and ninja moves ensued. I laughed, gave him a hard time, and forgot about Karma.<\/p>\n

Until yesterday, when a bee flew up my skirt and stung me not once, but twice. On my butt.<\/p>\n

I haven’t been stung in years. So thanks, Ryan, for the bad Karma, and the two welts on my behind. I forgot how much that hurt.<\/p>\n

But I digress…
\nMilo also enjoyed some great daddy time.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>First time in the big pool<\/p>\n

<\/span>\"\"<\/a>Love splashing and splashing!<\/p>\n

<\/span>\"\"<\/a>Don’t let go, Daddy!<\/p>\n

<\/span>\"\"<\/a>What’s that about TV influencing the obesity epidemic among children?
\nThank goodness both Milo and Andrew look disturbed…
\nThey were watching “The Wiggles”
\nAnd now I remember why we do not own a television<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>Enjoying some quality “naked time” like any bum would<\/span><\/div>\n

But before we leave the topic of Daddy, a quick aside for those interested in a bit of physics fun. Question: What happens when a grown man dives through a child’s-sized pink innertube? \"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>Answer: Pure Embarrassment.
\nThat innertube was stuck so tight, we thought we would have to cut it off of Andrew. Luckily, with some muscles and contortion, the tube was saved, and so was a shred of Andrew’s dignity.<\/p>\n

Aside aside… ha, ha. Wow this post is long.<\/p>\n
