Okay. I think I’ve found my favorite fall outfit! Heavy-weight warm (but not too warm) long-sleeved dress with pockets? Check. Stripes? Check. Yellow? Check. Warm worn-in old boots? Check! Easy outfit.<\/p>\n

I just ordered a few things to update my fall and winter wardrobe, but not before I cleaned out my closet, sold a bunch of things, and gave other items away. It felt good to make decisions and simplify my closet, but even better to take that money I made from selling stuff and put it toward some staples I know will take me through the cooler months. I had been on the look-out for a long-sleeved striped dress for a few months, but hadn’t found anything until a week ago, when I spotted this. And I’m so glad I waited for the perfect one! In the winter, I’ll just add black knit tights (or maybe a bright color?) and a nice long sweater, and I’ll be set.<\/p>\n

Cotton scarf: Anthropologie (I can’t find this online, but check out \u00a0this one<\/a>, or\u00a0this one<\/a>\u00a0would be really fun with stripes!)<\/em><\/p>\n

What’s on your wish list this fall? Following any color trends or styles? I find that I stick to roughly the same outfit that I know works for my body type season after season, but add trending colors or patterns.
