It’s so deceiving, these outfit posts. Not because I don’t actually wear these outfits, but because by the time I post them (this one was taken on the one warm day last weekend, Saturday, before we received a ridiculous amount of snow the next day), the weather seems to be something completely different. And obviously, I wouldn’t be wearing these shoes in a foot of snow. So… add rain boots and a coat and hat, and that’s more like today!<\/p>\n

Generally, I don’t dress in a lot of color. But when I do, it’s usually something subdued, like these yellow corduroy pants, or it’s\u00a0bright\u00a0<\/strong>red like a dress I’ve been dying to wear when it is warmer… maybe next week? We can hope???<\/p>\n

And my wise friend Mary once told me that people tend to dress the same way they decorate their homes– which would explain a lot! Our home is mainly various shades of neutrals and neutral patterns, with pops of color here and there (like our bright blue dining room!). And Mary, whose style I\u00a0love,\u00a0<\/em>is all about color and brightness. I think it suits her personality. How about you? Do you dress the way you decorate?<\/p>\n
