I felt so special, and on more than one occasion on Monday I felt tears spring to my eyes; I am grateful for the people in my life who think of me and care for me. Turning 34 was a good thing. I know age is a touchy subject for many women, but this year I felt nothing but grace and hope. I am vaguely aware of my own mortality, given that my own father died so young.
