Still taking on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crumbbums.com\/?p=5903\" target=\"_blank\">this philosophy<\/a> means that if one thing comes in, another item goes out. It&#8217;s easier than it sounds, actually. That polka-dotted shirt I loved three years ago suddenly feels a little juvenile for my current style&#8230; or the shape of a skirt doesn&#8217;t look right anymore with the muscles I&#8217;ve gained (ha!).<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;ve added a sleek black dress, a really versatile sweater, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madewell.com\/newarrivals\/shirtstops\/PRDOVR~B3014\/B3014.jsp\" target=\"_blank\">this denim shell<\/a>, which I&#8217;ve been wearing maybe too much (is three days in a row too much?) but I suppose a good sign that it&#8217;s a keeper! I find the slightly cropped style really flattering with high-waisted skinny jeans, and plan to wear it with my lighter denim-colored linen skirt and also over a more fitted dress when fall brings cooler weather.
