As the saying goes, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…. can’t fool a fool again,” or something. In other words, I do wish I had done DC more justice while we lived there. Not only for the memories, but also for all 8 of you readers. You know, should you ever desire to know what “it” spots exist for a stay-at-home mom of two. So… I will try to devote some time and space to our special places around here. Mostly within walking distance, but also a few that are more easily accessible by car or metro. Place number one: Kaldi’s Coffee<\/a> (there are several around here, but we most enjoy the atmosphere and people at the original DeMun location in Clayton).<\/p>\n

And a bonus: this particular location is across from a seriously gorgeous green space, home to Concordia Seminary, and just a few short blocks away from a quaint little playground that is fenced in for safekeeping of young crummy bums…<\/p>\n
