We are hunkering down and expecting to be housebound for a few days… everything outside is covered in a layer of glass-like ice, including tree limbs and power lines- eeks. We are expecting quite a storm over the next 24 hours. And though I know how crazy weather<\/a> can get, this kind is particularly troubling because of the possibility of widespread power outages. Which nobody likes.<\/p>\n

So we are all stocked up on firewood, flashlights, a few candles here and there, plenty of food, and all the key ingredients for s’moore’s on the fireplace if we find ourselves in that lucky position! Oh, and all of the laundry in the entire house is clean. In case, you know, we have a laundry shortage. Or something.<\/p>\n
