Summer hats, gotta love ’em! I still really like the floppy hat — straw is lightweight and perfect for summer, but it does tend to fly off my head and into the sky if it’s breezy! Oh, well. Keep it simple with a lightweight, loose-fitting linen tee and black joggers, and trusty old moccasins and… voila! Perfect summer outfit.

Unfortunately, it is too long on me (alas, I am only 5’1″ so the hem basically touches the floor) and i am unable to return it since it is a Final Sale item. It is in XS and fits true to size, since you mentioned in your previous post that you are 5’5″ I think the midi length would be more fitting. If you are interested in it, I would be happy to offload it for even less than the current sale price. xoxo

I adore this outfit! I love all your “Dress That Mama” posts. Always so stylish. So chic yet simple and classy. I wanted to ask you for some fashion opinion. I have to attend my niece’s (sister in laws daughter) 1st birthday towards the end of August. I have no idea what the party is going to consist of…what do you think is a good, and appropriate outfit for her party? I’ll be bringing my 9 month old son to it as well. Thanks so much!
