Changes

Okay. Bear with me as we change a few things on the old bloggety-blog. I demanded politely requested that Andrew help me make all my dreams come true with this blog. I mean, as far as projects go, this has kind of helped me keep my sanity as I connect with those of you who live far away, those of you who are also stay-at-home moms, those of you I miss terribly (especially in these cold cold winter months), and all the rest of you who visit us on here. But I am, as my college roommates would happily tell you, not the most computer-literate person out there. So if things look funky for a while, it’s not you, it’s me.

I long to share my family and my life, as I experience it, with people who might relate. And yet, it is hard to know how much to share. Ah, such is life. Share? Don’t share? In my experience, sharing mostly results in wonderful things. So, here we go.

I commit to doing a little more. Blame it on late New Year’s resolution energy! Look for upcoming posts including recipes, stories about the kids, fashion (including upcoming “Dress That Prof” posts during which I will embarrass  my husband with outfit posts for his teaching and non-teaching work days… oh boy!), and green living. It may be ambitious, but I’m going to give it a whirl.

Feedback is much appreciated (please be nice) as we make these changes…

  1. Your blog is lovely! Not just aesthetically, but I very much enjoy the stories you tell (both with words and pictures). I am also envious of your boys’ willingness to wear dandy little outfits. My 2.5 year old just wants to be naked. 🙂

  2. LOVE the new look! And I also love that you’re aspiring to do more with the blog….I seem to recall a conversation about this on a lovely little walk through your “woods” in DC. The boys look adorable!

  3. I very much enjoy the scamp look they’ve got going on here. Scampy. As for the blog, as far as I’m concerned my biggest issue is you making me look bad in mine (last post was in, um July?). Good job, super lady.

  4. Love the new blog & the outfits the boys are wearing! You guys are so creative & talented. I’m looking forward to the new content, especially the posts where you pick outfits for Andrew! Perhaps Dave will be inspired by Andrew’s fashion. 🙂

  5. We’ve always talked about how wonderful your writing is, Lauren. We’re so excited to see the new places you take the blog, to see your gorgeous photos of your growing boys, and of course, to gather fashion plate advice for Garriy 🙂

  6. I’m new to your blog so I’m not sure what it looked like before but it looks fantastic now! Your boys are so adorable (and well dressed). I’m looking forward to reading all of the ideas that you have in store.

  7. So nice to come across your lovely blog corner, where your plight of raising three boys (so close in age) is an instant connection.

Can’t wait to see all you have in store for us.
Cheers, to blog ambitions keeping us sane 🙂
