January 23rd? How can this be? It seems like the month of January was a bust. Instead of feeling inspired, I just felt bulldozed. But I’m hoping that February is the “new January.” I’m going to have a sunnier outlook during my birthday month, I’ve decided. Despite, you know, lacking the sun and all.
I’ve been super cold lately. Maybe because last year, winter around here was more like fall. But it has been coooooold here, in the single digits and my toes and fingers are constantly cold. So, layers. Here I am getting away with two sweaters without looking too bulky, plus thick wool socks inside those boots! Hope you are staying warmer than I am!

I’m officially a non-fan of January as well. February HAS to be better. Right? Right? The good news is that you don’t look like the first month of the year kicked your butt. I, on the other hand……..

You look great, and if you could even manage to stand outside in this outfit and get a picture without smoke coming from your nose, it’s warmer there than here. It’s painfully cold! Too cold even for James and he is winter’s #1 cheerleader.
