Such fun pictures. We have a stay at home dad (well, work at night actually) in our preschool group, and when we all collect at the park to play after pickup every single kid is after him like a magnet, especially the boys. He catches them all and ‘cages’ them in this barred play structure… and I’m always thinking that I wish I could be more like that with my kids (but I’m so tired!). I am guessing it’s more common for dads to be so physical in their play- I’m more likely to set up a project or go for a walk to collect treasures. Quietly 🙂 You seem to run around with the best of them! Well done.
No, Lilly, I’m more like you too! I love to watch from the sidelines laughing hysterically. Andrew is definitely one of those dads! Every once in awhile I like to join in too!
I’m always glad when I join in, though I’m way more inclined to take the moment to read on the sidelines. If they’re playing it means I can chill….usually.

Yup – daddy is the goofball in our family too. Kids who have engaged, fun daddies don’t know how lucky they are. Love this.
